The latest local excavations prove that the tradition of spas flourished in Komárom already in the age of the Romans. Although we do not know whether the citizens of Brigetio knew about the treasure hidden in the ground or not, we have data to prove that osteoarthritis and the rheumatic illnesses of the Romans were eased by thermal water. One of the biggest attractions of Komárom, the city of fortresses, is the excellent quality of its thermal water. The Brigetio Thermalspa of Komárom is situated in the heart of the city. The water, which is 62 degrees Celsius, was declared as thermal water in 1967. It has served the healing and relaxation of our guests for nearly 50 years.
The water is calcium-magnesium-hydrogen-carbonated with chloride and sulphide classified water. The thermal water is rich in minerals, therefore it is suitable for the treatment of musculoskeletal, rheumatic, neurological and gynaecological complaints. The spa offers two open-air thermal pools (32-38°C), an indoor thermal pool (34-36°C), a jacuzzi (33-35°C), an indoor swimming pool (25-28°C), an indoor training pool (30-3°C), and during the summer season an outdoor swimming pool (24-26°C), an outdoor adventure pool with rainbow chute (25-28°C) and a children’s pool (27-30°C) with entertainment items and a snake-shaped slide.
Open air thermal pools (30-38 °C)
Best places for chatting, playing chess, and prevention, rehabilitation and enjoy the spa and the fresh air. Have you ever tried when it's raining? What is your opinion? Both of the outdoor thermal pools can be used all year round. One of these is 30 – 33° C, and the other is 36-38°C. Water exchange is automatic by the fill and drain system in every 24 hours. Depth of water: 0,8 m. Children under 14 years can not use the indoor and outdoor thermal pools, because of health reasons!
Indoor thermal pool (34-36°C)
Indoor spa pool can be used all year round. Water exchange is automatic by the fill and drain system in every 24 hours. Chairlift for the disabled guests. Depth of water: 0,9 m. Children under 14 years can not use the indoor and outdoor thermal pools, because of health reasons!
Jacuzzi (33-35 °C)
If you would like to have a nice experience, try this indoor jacuzzi. Can be visited all year round. Water exchange is automatic by the fill and drain system in every 24 hours. Depth of water: 0,8 m. Children under 14 years can not use the jakuzzi, because of health reasons!
Indoor swimming hall
The great indoor swimming pool (25-28 °C)is ideal for training and active recreation as well. Come and swim all year round. Depth of water: 1,8 – 2,2 m. Size: 33x17m
The training pool (30-33 °C) is open all year round.The famous physiotherapy treatment take place here. Depth of water: 0,9 m. Size: 6x17 m.
Outdoor swimming pool (22-25°C), oudoor adventure pool with slide (25-28 °C) and children pool (27-30°C)
Like the fresh air? The 50 m long outdoor swimming pool is the best choice for your outdoor training. Only in summer season. Depth of water: 1,3 – 2,2 m.
If you would like to have some fun choose the adventure pool with the fantastic rainbow slide and a smaller lovely child chute. Only in summer.

According to the latest excavations, spa culture played an important role in Komárom-Brigetio already 1700 years ago.
The log sauna and the surrounding garden evoke the atmosphere of an important era of Komárom’s historical past. In the garden, the plunge tub, bucket showers, and a sun space make the sauna experience more complete.
There are two finnish saunas available in the spa, where different types of essential oils are applied. The oils exert a beneficial physiological effect after inhaling, but also have unnoticed influence on our emotions and moods as well.There is also an infrared sauna, which has the same efficiency; however it exerts its beneficial effect at a lower temperature. Steam sauna and a salt room are also available.
